What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary" and is a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the Web, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs. RSS feeds (or news feeds) are a way for sites to syndicate frequently updated content which
users can subscribe to.
The American Chemistry Council is now offering an RSS feed of the Phthalate Information Center Panel Statements to provide an easy way to keep reporters and other interested parties up-to-date on developments in the world of phthalates.
How can I use RSS?
Using a program called a News Aggregator, you can subscribe to and display RSS feeds such as this one on phthalates.org.
News Aggregators (also called news readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you and will update the feeds regularly to give you the most current information. A number of free and commercial News Aggregators are available for download. Popular news readers include FeedReader and
FeedDemon on the PC, NetNewsWire and NewsFire on the Mac, or online aggregators such as NewsGator.
Once you've selected a news reader, you will need to point it to the Phthalates Panel Statement RSS feed at http://www.phthalates.org/rss.aspx
The Phthalates blog RSS feed is also available at http://blog.phthalates.org/index.rdf
If you have additional questions about our RSS feed, you can reach us with questions through the Contact Us.
